MUSICAL PLAYSCHOOL

To register your child in Musical Playschool, contact the teacher directly. Registration starts in early May, and you can register for one school year at a time. Pupils are also taken in after the term has started in the Fall and Spring. Contact the Musical Playschool teachers at the respective teaching locations directly to inquire about possible vacancies.

The teaching locations, their addresses, timetables and teacher contact information is listed under “Teaching Locations.” Additional information is provided under  “Musical Playschool.” Information on tuition fees can be found under “Tuition Fees”.  The teaching language at Juvenalia is Finnish.

INSTRUMENTAL AND VOCAL STUDIES

ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS FOR SPRING 2013: May 28 – 30th

Students for instrumental and vocal studies at the Basic Level Studies in Music are primarily chosen on the basis of an entrance examination held each spring in late May: exact timeschedul will be made available on our webpages at page ”oppilaaksi”.

The teaching language at Juvenalia is Finnish.

For the entrance examinations this Spring 2013, you will need to register in advance 6.-22.5.2013 through our new EEPOS registration site by providing the applicant’s personal and other information at page ”oppilaaksi”.
However, we will not give the applicants their own individual entrance examination times. You will still have to check the entrance examination schedule for the instrument and department you will be applying for on our webpages   and come to examination at the scheduled time.

 

Those applying for the Open Division do not need to take an entrance examination, but rather should come and fill out an application during the entrance examination period. However, if you are applying for solo voice lessons, you must audition before the voice jury at the entrance examinations.

In order to facilitate your choice of instrument, you can find detailed information on the instruments taught at our institute under ”Soitinesittely” (Instrument demonstration) Please take time also to look at the Institute’s ”Toimintakertomus” (Annual Report) for the previous year, which features a table on the entrance examinations held the previous year.
